iTunes U

iTunes U is a service provided by the computer program iTunes, where people can download and view videos from educational institutes. Since 2010, the TU Delft is sharing videos through iTunes U, mostly consisting of Collegerama recordings, but also snapshot classes, promotional videos and videos of student projects.

Videos in iTUnes U are also posted on the TU Delft Youtube channel l, and can usually also be found as TU Delft OpenCourseWare, accompanied by other learning materials. In this way, the range of a course increases, since people outside of the TU Delft classroom can also access the lectures. Similar to Collegerama , students can replay entire lectures.

Freely accessible, under conditions

Material published through iTunes U, may be (re)used, rearranged and redistributed without permission. A number of conditions apply however. For instance, the material cannot be used for commercial purposes without permission. Apart from this, when reusing the material, you are obligated to reference the original author and you have to reuse the shared and/or edited material under the same conditions. The TU Delft uses a Creative Commons license  for iTunesU  videos.
